Unlocking Opportunities: NFB’s Financial Assistance for the 2024 Convention in Orlando

admin

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) of Montana is committed to empowering its members by offering financial support to those wishing to attend the upcoming 2024 Convention in Orlando, Florida, from July 3-8. Understanding that financial constraints can often hinder participation in such significant events, the NFB of Montana is promoting two fiscal assistance programs designed to help alleviate these challenges. These programs are aimed at both first-time and returning attendees, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience what promises to be an enlightening and engaging convention.

Note: The deadline for both scholarships is April 15, 2024

1. Jernigan Scholarship Fund:

Have you always wanted to attend an NFB annual convention but have not done so because of the lack of funds? The Kenneth Jernigan Convention Scholarship Fund invites you to make an application for a scholarship grant. Perhaps this July you too can be in the Rosen Center Orlando enjoying the many pleasures and learning opportunities at the largest and most important yearly convention of blind people in the world.

2. NFB of Montana Fiscal Assistance

The Board of Directors of the NFB of Montana authorized four awards of $750 each to the National Convention. The awards are to help with travel costs to the 2024 NFB Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Please remember the April 15 deadlines for each application. We Hope to see your applications soon!
