Chapters: At Large

The Treasure State Chapter is almost as vast as the beautiful state of Montana. The state is the fourth largest state by area and has a population of approximately 1 million people. The state is known for its diverse geography, which includes the Rocky Mountains, the Great Plains, and numerous rivers and lakes. Montana’s economy is largely driven by agriculture, mining, and tourism. The state is home to several national parks and wilderness areas, including Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Montana has a rich history, with Native American tribes, early explorers, and pioneers all playing a significant role in shaping the state’s culture and identity.

Although the Treasure State Chapter is intended for those persons who do not have a local chapter in their area, anyone is welcome, whether
or not you belong to a local chapter or any chapter. We hope that by listening and learning about the NFB of Montana, you may choose to become more involved and perhaps form a chapter in your own locality.
